Radcombobox selectedvalue not updating
These end up not being the same in terms of the default object Equals method. Either overload the Equals method in your objects (also remembering to overload Get Hash Code), or use Selected Value and Selected Value Path.
If you have access to the code and can override Equals/Get Hash Code, that is the cleaner implementation.
Hopefully, this clears up the mystery around why Selected Item doesn't work as expected with ORM layers like NHibernate.
